August 2013: A new version 1.8.0 of REAL3D SCANNER was released on 2013-08-08 with lots of improvements in 3D scanning modules and robust and efficient phase unwrapping algorithms. Now available on the download page.
July 2013: A new version 1.7.0 of REAL3D SCANNER was released on 2013-07-21 with many new interesting features for SL 3D scanning, filtering, surface reconstruction, merging, decimation, as well as it comes with lots of bug fixes, improvements, and much more. Now it also allows you to view, convert, edit, and enhance 2D images in 3D environment. It has an array of features that include image viewing, smoothing, noise removal, edge detection, resizing, and color adjustments, etc. Now available on the download page.
June 2013: A new version 1.6.0 of REAL3D SCANNER was released on 2013-06-05 with many new interesting features for SL 3D scanning, point clouds rendering, noise filtering, accurate registration, surface reconstruction, merging, decimation, as well as it comes with lots of memory fixes, improvements, maximum speed and much more. Feb 2013: A new version 1.5.0 of REAL3D SCANNER was released on 2013-02-22 with many new interesting features for point clouds rendering, accurate mesh registration/alignment, mesh generation, merging, decimation, lots of improvements in old algorithms and achieved the maximum speed. Jan 2013: Today I recieved TWO awards at the Korean Society of CAD/CAM Engineers 2013 conference (Pheonix Park). 1st: My paper titled "Digital Fringe Projection based Real-time 3D Shape Measurement System" was selected for the Best Student Paper Award. The prize was 300,000 Korean Won.
The 2nd award is the Best Journal Paper Award. My journal titled "Development of a Real-time 3D Intraoral Scanner based on Fringe-Projection Technique" is selected for the Best Journal Paper of 2012 (domestically). In the seven years history of "The Society of CAD/CAM Engineers", 38 papers were selected as The Best Papers. Only 21 were selected for the compitiion, today was the presentation day and my paper got the 2nd position.

Dec 2012: Recieved the "Best Paper Award" at IEEE 2012 International Conference on Information Science and Applications (ICISA).
Dec 2012: Recieved the "Bronze Paper Award" at IEEE Seoul Section Student Paper Contest 2012.

Sep 2012: New version 1.2.1 of REAL3D SCANNER with Realtime Virtual 3D Scanner has been released and available on the download page.
Aug 2012: Developed a Real-time 3D Scanning System based on Structured Light (Fringe Projection) technology. The system has added in 3D Renderer and Cutting Simulator v1.1.0. The website is also updated relevant to latest additions.
July 2012: Completed 2 days training of PMAC (Programmable Multi-Axis Controller) and UMAC (Universal Machine and Automation Controller) for CNC at Delta Tau Data Systems, Inc. Korea.
June 2012: Our paper has been accepted for DEWS2012 conference.
June 2012: Attended KSPE 2012 conference at the most beautiful island of Korea, Jeju Island. We also went to the heighest mountain of Korea Halla-san, Jeju.
May 2012: Attended ICISA 2012 conference at Suwon, S. Korea. I had to present three presentations in one session. Its funny! isnt it?
April 2012: Attended Korean Traditional Hourse Workshop at Hyundai Sungwoo Resort, S. Korea.
