Portable Windows hardware/OS inspector
SIR is a portable Windows application that shows your system's hardware and OS information. It runs directly from a USB flash drive with no installation and no registry changes, and prints a single-page summary.
What it displays
- General system info: computer name, system type, model and manufacturer, memory, MAC address, domain
- BIOS manufacturer, version, and release date
- Operating system details
- CPU type, clock, cache, family, manufacturer, and ID
- Motherboard model, manufacturer, bus type, and serial number
- Internal and external video cards, video mode, driver version, chip type, memory
- Hard drive name, size, and serial number; USB drives and serial numbers
- Additional info: CD/DVD ROM, sound card, network card, printer, notebook battery
It is a handy tool to carry on a USB stick to quickly inspect any computer.
